Hurray for the 17th of May: Win one of our unique Bitcoin posters dedicated to the Norwegian Constitution day!

With great excitement we congratulate all Norwegians with the 17th of May!

May 17th is a significant date in the Norwegian history: in 1814 112 men signed the Norwegian Constitution proclaiming Norway's freedom and independence, multiplying honor and love, unity of brothers and sisters for the homeland - ideals our country is built upon. Each year Norway celebrates this day with flags, national anthem singing and bunader (Norwegian traditional costumes).

As an up-and-coming, truly Norwegian cryptocurrency exchange, we are deeply embedded with our roots in Norwegian culture. Today we give back to our community and commemorate the Norwegian Constitution day with our latest unique creation in cooperation with Julian Mestizo Ruiz, a digital artist from Voss and the owner of CBNS Designs studio.

Meet Bitcoin Rain

The Bitcoin Rain artwork depicts an anonymous woman in a traditional bunad originating from the Voss region. She holds a Bitcoin coin in her hand, while holding an NBX umbrella in the other one. The bitcoins rain is falling down for the good luck to all of us. Behind a woman there is an upwards trading chart with green candles.

A collaboration between NBX and Julian Mestizo Ruiz

Julian is a 42 years old digital artist from Voss, Norway. His art evolves around events that occur in his environment, both online and offline social bubble, including so-called Cryptoverse. Bitcoin Rain idea came up when Julian was researching information about NBX and experiences with our platform.

"The cryptoverse is volatile and full of FUD (Fear, Uncertainty & Doubt). I live in Norway, but got to know Binance & Coinbase. I live in fear that my investments are at the mercy of these exchanges. The fact that NBX is a local exchange that is also approved by the Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway diminishes my FUD. I feel that NBX can SHIELD me from many of my worries. This includes security, CGT and exchange's credibility. I believe NBX will be the gateway for Norwegians to enter the Cryptoverse."

 

 

Ensuring the provenance and authenticity of a physical piece of art can be difficult. Bitcoin Rain comes with the signature of the artist and a certificate of authenticity that could be authenticated by both the artist and the printing studio. This creates a two-factor authentication process ensuring the art is legitimate. The origin of the art is the third step. In this case, all 15 posters must have originated from NBX and nowhere else. And so, it happened.

 

We allocated 10 posters for our beloved community, 1 for our office and the remaining 4 for our partners.
