Follow these steps to verify your XRP withdrawal using Notabene.
Step 1: Start a withdrawal in NBX
Go to Funds → Withdrawals in the NBX app.
Select Ripple (XRP), enter the destination address and amount, then proceed.
Step 2: The "Verify the recipient" screen appears
The Notabene Verify the recipient panel will open automatically.
You will see two sections:
- Recipient - who is receiving the funds
- Wallet - the wallet used to verify ownership of the destination address
You need to complete both sections.
Step 3: Select recipient
Under Recipient, choose:
- Myself - if the destination wallet belongs to you (most common)
- Another individual - if you are sending to someone else
- A business or organization - for company transactions
Step 4: Select wallet
Open the Wallet section and select the wallet that controls the destination address.
If your wallet is not listed, select:
- Connect another device
- or Sign transaction manually
Step 5: Sign and complete
Follow the prompts from your wallet to sign the ownership message.
Once completed, both sections will show green checkmarks. Click Complete to submit the withdrawal.
Important note for XRP
XRP addresses require a minimum balance of 1 XRP to remain active.
If you are sending to a new address, make sure the amount covers this reserve in addition to your intended transfer.
Troubleshooting
- Wallet not listed - use Connect another device or Sign transaction manually
- Withdrawal is stuck - refresh the page and check status under Funds → Withdrawals
- No access to wallet - you must complete the verification before the withdrawal can be processed
